Picture of the day

We just got back from watching a magnificant firework at Yodogawa, Osaka. It was really, really impressive in terms of presentation and size. Though I wish they had an orchestra playing in the background instead of the lady announcer's annoying voice.

Anyways, even though we went for the fireworks, my picture of the day for today is not anything close to that. It turns out to be that of a really cute family we saw on the train.


This father was taking his 2 little children to see the fireworks. It was already very late on the way back and these two kids were just dozing off, lying against each other's head and shoulder. It was a really adorable scene which I tried to capture with my camera but it came out unexceptionally blurred! We didn't realized until not so long before they got off the train that these two boys came with their father. Just when they were leaving, the father put on HUGE shoulder bag full of picnic stuff, started holding the older son with his right arm and grabbed the little son on to his other side. It was just very sweet!!
