'Yes, We Can, Mr.President!'

We met with Mr. President, Barak Obama, yesterday!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dad, mom and I, along with P'Ble and P'Nha took an easy road trip to Fukui Prefecture yesterday just for the sake of having a free day before my parents go home. The trip was made very easy and our destinations were planned as we went.

"OBAMA 小浜" is a very small and local town toward the south-western side of Fukui Prefecture. It took about an hour and a half or even less to drive from my house in Kyoto along the local roads up to Obama. The town became famous only because it shares the same name as Barak Obama, the president of the United States.

We actually have heard of this town during the election campaign, so we just wanted to check it out. Dad read off the internet somewhere and heard there is a statue of Obama made by the city Mayer at the city hall. But there was nothing when we went there, not even a slight evidence of any past election campaign or support. So we asked the tourism counter there. The result is what is shown in the photos!! But it's quite interesting... :) haha.

The real unseen Japan!!

p.s. All these campaigns and Obama Support in Obama town are by the private sector.
