Today is another day marked on
Japanese Calendar as a festive day. It's a beginning of a new year on old lunar calendar. In fact, it's supposed to be a beginning of Spring!!! (But it was snowing today!!!) Nothing much to say, let's pictures say it for me ;-)

N'Bow's visit to Kyoto University

Nott, Yam, Bow, Mai and P'Ton at Yoshida Shrine (right in front of Kyo-dai)

Happy Beans ;-)

Food stalls (เหมือนงานวัดเลย)

Salty Smoked Fish
(มันเรียกว่าอะไรหว่า.. คล้ายปลาเผา หรือปลาอังไฟนี่แหล่ะ.. เค็มมากกกก)

Yummy Banoffe' by N'Bow (มาช่วยโปรโมท ^^)

คิดถึงอีกแล้ว ไปทุกปีเลยนะนั่น
err, correct me if i am wrong, the old lunar calendar that u mentioned is the chinese lunar calander. And therfore, the first day of spring this year is on the 29th january, when the Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year.
Since Lunar calander is no more in practice, 3 Feb is not the day of seperation of winter and spring, because the Lunar calander and the western calander differs every year.
By practicing western calander, they managed to fix all celebration, and abandon the other one.
I'm actually not that detailed about that either. But I looked up some information about the events. The links are up in the post. I guess that helps explain things better than I do. Sorry for making it short, gotta run.
เดี๋ยวคราวหน้าทำให้กินอีกน้าาา
thank you for the the link, it enlightened me.
According to the link, Tanabata is based on the Lunar calander, the 7th day of the 7th month.
Strange enough, since both Gregorian and Lunar calander differs, how come Setsubun falls on the same day on Gregorian Feb 3 every year ??
maybe i should read again.
