ฺBBQ at Biwa Lake, Shiga Prefecture

Well... today we had a bonding BBQ party between the Thais and Japanese people who love Thailand. There is a club here organized by Kimura-sensei gathering Japanese people who used to live in Thailand or has interests in our country and it's named "Thailand Lovers Club ชมรมคนรักเมืองไทย". (We call Kimura-sensei "Ajarn Kimura" though. The word Ajarn means teacher in Thai language.)

Anyways, Aj.Kimura organizes this BBQ party for many consecutive years already, but this is the first time we invited the rest of students in Kansai area to join the party too. So we had nearly 100 people altogether from the whole Kansai attending the function today. We first were divided into groups for BBQing. Then, we regrouped people into 4 teams to compete in a few games we prepared. The party was closing with a Saxophone performance by a Japanese and a casual performance by Kansai Band. Too bad it rained on and off the whole day, otherwise we would have had more fun being by the lake. But despite that, we still had a great time.

- Thanks to all the Japanese for their very warmth welcome and for their great love to our country.
- Thanks also to the Thai students for their smiles and kindness.
- Special Thanks to Aj.Kimura for organizing this event and to Nott who was the main co-organizer, also to the rest of our Kyoto Team and the Kansai Band!

Another day to remember :)

(I was too lazy to take pictures, so only a few to post now... more will come later!)

eventhough it rained, we still had a good time!
